About me

For the past nine years, I have dedicated my career to supporting local and national charities as a mentor and coach, among other roles, all aimed at enhancing the well-being of individuals through measurable outcomes. My journey has led me to work on employment programs designed for those most distanced from the job market, adopting a holistic approach that emphasises behavioural change. In my capacity as an Independent Mental Capacity Advocate (IMCA), Care Act Advocate, and Relevant Person's Representative, I have been a voice for those unable to articulate their needs and wishes regarding specialist care. Furthermore, I have served as an Independent Victim Advocate, where I utilised a trauma-informed approach to support victims of crime.

Most recently, I held the position of Welfare Officer for both serving and veterans of the tri-services and the police federation, concentrating on issues related to mental health, substance abuse, housing, and other factors affecting individuals' lives. Currently, I am employed at a local authority, working within the Adult Safeguarding Team, continuing my commitment to safeguarding the rights and welfare of individuals in our community.
